New Hires

We would like to congratulate and welcome our new hires for the 2022-2023 school year! We are so excited to have them be part of our ND community. 

New Faculty:
Ilirjana Arapi will serve as a French Instructor, Michael Frisella will serve as a Mathematics Instructor, Cassidy McNeal will serve as a Music & Theatre Instructor, and Elena Royal will serve as a Theology Instructor.

New Staff:
Dan Grumich will serve as Athletic Director, Becky Haberberger will serve as Registrar, Beth Lundy will serve as Theatre Director, Allison Moser Panaziewicz '16 will serve as Campus Minister, and Colleen O'Neill Politte '97 will serve as Director of Finance.

Ilirjana ArapiFrench
Ilirjana received her Bachelor's in French and Sociology from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland and her Master's in French from Saint Louis University. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for foreign language with our students. Ilirjana enjoys reading, music and exploring new places with friends and family.

Michael FrisellaMathematics
Michael received his Bachelor's in Mathematics and his Master's in Teaching from Lindenwood University. He has worked as a substitute teacher in the Francis Howell and Fort Zumwalt School Districts. Most recently, he taught middle school and high school math at Barat Academy. Michael was also the cross country coach there. He enjoys running, reading and playing the piano. 

Dan GrumichAthletic Director
Dan served as Director of Advancement at Rosary and Trinity Catholic High School before serving as Trinity's Athletic Director and then President. He also coached baseball (16 years) and girls basketball (4 years) at Trinity.  He and his wife, Mary Pat, have three children and are members of Sacred Heart Parish in Florissant. He is looking forward to joining ND's community and helping advance our athletic program.

Becky Haberberger, Registrar
Becky received her Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Southeast Missouri State University and her Master's in Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Education Administration from Southwest Baptist University. She began her career as a teacher and high school varsity soccer coach in the Bayless School District. Most recently, she worked as a virtual learning liaison and as a learning consultant for Queen of All Saints. She and her husband, Steve, have three children. She enjoys quality family time and traveling.

Beth Lundy, Theatre Director
Beth is a past parent to Lauren '16 and Kate '18. She volunteered extensively with the theatre productions while they attended ND. Beth has experience directing community theatre and is the chairperson for the annual O'Fallon Woman's Club Empty Bowl Luncheon. She is excited to pursue this new creative endeavor. 

Cassidy McNealMusic & Theatre
Cassidy received her Bachelor's in Vocal Music Education from Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of the Opera Theatre Workshop for three years while at SEMO. She has worked as a private vocal, guitar and piano instructor and a vocal music teacher at Labadie Elementary in the Washington School District. Cassidy is excited to share her love of music with our students. 

Allison Moser Panaziewicz '16, Campus Minister
Allison received her Bachelor's in Political Science with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies from DePaul University after graduating from ND in 2016. She joined the AmeriCorps Vincentian Mission Corps Volunteer Year of Service program from 2020-2021. Most recently, Allison worked at the Wyman Center. She is very excited to be back at NDHS.

Colleen O'Neill Politte '97, Director of Finance
Colleen received her Bachelor's from Southeast Missouri State University after graduating from ND in 1997. She has worked in finance and accounting for 17 years. Colleen resides in South St. Louis County and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is looking forward to being part of ND community. 

Elena RoyalTheology
Elena has degrees from both Franciscan University of Steubenville and Pine Manor College. She also researched 18th/19th century American Catholicism at Saint Louis University. She has eleven years of experience teaching in both public and private high schools. Elena enjoys running, cycling and playing with her sweet pup.
