New Hires

We would like to congratulate and welcome our new hires for the 2021-2022 school year! We are so excited to have them be a part of our ND community. Jeannie Bateman '81 will serve as a Theology Instructor, Julia Clements will serve as a Spanish Instructor, Sara Paciorek will serve as a French Instructor, and Lynn Shambro will serve as a Counselor & Psychology Instructor.

Jeannie BatemanTheology
Jeannie Bateman '81 has been teaching for 28 years. She is an alumna of Notre Dame as well as a past faculty member — she taught Spanish at ND from 1995-2002. Jeannie enjoys drinking coffee in the morning with a good prayer book and walking outdoors in the evenings with her husband. She recently became a grandma.

Julia Clements, Spanish
Julia Clements has been teaching high school and college Spanish for 17 years. She holds a Master of Arts degree as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. Her hobbies include reading, Hip Hop dance, fly-fishing, and mixed martial arts. Julia is also a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Sara PaciorekFrench
Sara Paciorek has a master's degree in French; she has taught French, Spanish, and Latin to elementary, middle, and high school levels for 16 years. She has led 8 international trips with her students to the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and across Europe. Sara is married to her high school sweetheart and has 3 young children — they love to have family dance parties together.

Lynn ShambroCounselor/Psychology
Lynn Shambro has a Master of Education degree in Counseling as well as a bachelor's degree in education. She has taught or served as a school counselor for nearly 25 years. Lynn's accolades include being a ROSE Award recipient in Rockwood School District.
