Notre Dame High School is excited to announce the hiring of two new basketball coaches for the 2025-2026 season. Paige Fowler will take over the duties as head Varsity coach, while Madeline Kopff '16 will serve as a Varsity Assistant Coach. Adam Flinn will return to his role as the Junior Varsity coach.
Fowler, a graduate of Herculaneum High School and Principia College in Elsah, Illinois, most recently served as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Lewis & Clark Community College. She has also been active in coaching youth at the club basketball level. Fowler was a standout player at Herculaneum and continued her playing career at Principia.
“I’m excited to join the coaching staff as the head varsity basketball coach because I’m passionate about empowering young women through sports. I’m committed to building a competitive and disciplined program that emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and personal growth,” explained Fowler. “My goal is to create a positive and high-energy environment where our athletes can develop their skills, grow in confidence and represent our school with pride, both on and off the court.”
Kopff, a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame, is also thrilled to be able to contribute to ND basketball.
“Coming back to Notre Dame is more than just a coaching role, it’s a full-circle moment,” said Kopff. “I am so excited and committed to uplifting student-athletes on and off the court and instilling pride and dedication to the game of basketball.”
As a player, Kopff led Notre Dame to four consecutive district championships and set the all-time leading scorer record for the Rebels. At Rockhurst University, she was a three-time All-GLVC Team honoree and scored 1,599 points. Following her Rockhurst career, Kopff served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Fontbonne University.
