Ways to Give

I give to Notre Dame [because] I see all that ND has given to my daughters. Their academic, spiritual and leadership growth during their years at Notre Dame would make any parent proud. I have watched as both girls have flourished in their own, unique way. I hope that my giving can help other students that would not otherwise be able to afford Catholic education and keep Notre Dame flourishing. Notre Dame High School is a true gem and I am happy to support their mission in any way that I am able to foster the growth of these young women and the future of the institution.

Give via Venmo

Venmo is not just for splitting your dinner bill. Find us on Venmo @NotreDameRebels-STL. We are notified via e-mail and you will be sent confirmation of your donation by way of USPS.

Gifts of Cash or Check

This is often the most preferred way to donate as it allows immediate benefits to both you and Notre Dame High School. Because of our current COVID-19 protocol we are asking that all gifts of cash or check be made via USPS or any mail carrier of your choice. We are not allowing any outside visitors on our campus at this time. Please use the below address for donation purposes and if donating by check, please make payable to Notre Dame High School.

Notre Dame High School Attn: Finance Office 320 E. Ripa Ave. St. Louis, MO 63125

Gifts of Stock

Using publicly traded stock to make a gift to Notre Dame High School can be a very tax-wise method of giving, especially if the stock has appreciated in value since you acquired it.

How Do I Give Publicly Traded Stock to ND?

Gifts of stock allow you to claim a federal income charitable tax deduction for the full, appreciated value of the securities (not the lesser amount originally paid for them). You do not pay any tax on the transaction of a gift of appreciated stock. Notre Dame does not pay the capital gain when the stock is liquidated, so it can be used for the full market value and avoid taxation. If the stock is currently held in a brokerage account for more than one year, simply request that your broker transfer the stock into the brokerage account of Notre Dame High School. Complete this form, give it to your broker and send a copy to Notre Dame High School Attn: Colleen Politte '97, Director of Finance, at cpolitte@ndhs.net

Notre Dame’s brokerage account is held by Edward Jones. Please refer to our representative at Edward Jones with any other inquires: Jennifer Hunt (636) 931-5295

What If I Hold Stock Certificate(s) Myself?

If you are currently in possession of the stock certificate(s), simply date and sign where indicated on the back of the certificate(s) and send the original certificate(s) to Notre Dame High School along with a “Relinquishment Letter” which will need an official notarized signature.

Honor & Memorial Gifts

Memorial Gifts

Many of our beloved alumnae or other community members wish to continue their support of Catholic education and Notre Dame High School after they depart from this life. These donations will be acknowledged to the family of the deceased, as well as published in the bi-annual alumnae magazine, The LegeND. To make a memorial contribution, please click HERE and include the deceased individual’s name in the appropriate box.

In Lieu of Flowers

If you are a family member or friend of someone recently deceased that requested Notre Dame as a benefactor for memorialized gifts, in lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to contact the Director of Major Gifts to assist in this process and/or arrange for the delivery of a memorial card package.

Honor Gifts

Honor gifts can be used as a thoughtful way to express gratitude to any current or past classmates, faculty members, coaches, administrators or simply in recognition of a noteworthy achievement. These donations will be acknowledged to the honoree and the donor accordingly, as well as published in our bi-annual alumnae magazine, The LegeND. To make an honor contribution, please click HERE and include the honoree’s name in the appropriate box.

Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gift programs are a terrific way for donors to maximize their personal contribution to ND and increase the overall impact of their gift. By taking advantage of a company’s matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs, even after you retire! To find out if your current or past employer has a matching gift policy you can follow the link below or contact their HR department. If you have any further questions regarding Matching Gifts, please contact the Director of Major Gifts.

I give to Notre Dame because I believe in the mission of the school, the vision of the administration and the talented faculty. I know firsthand that ND women who graduate go on to make a permanent impact in the world around them.
