NDHS Application-Based Scholarships

Blessed Theresa Scholarship

Awarded to three incoming freshmen who meet the following criteria: 

  • Selects Notre Dame as her first-choice school on the Archdiocese application

  • Core score is at or above 90th percentile on the standardized test taken in 7th and 8th grade

    Notre Dame accept Iowa Assessments, Stanford, MAP and Explore

  • Receives a 3.5 cumulative GPA in her core classes in 7th and 8th grade

  • Demonstrates an enduring commitment to community service

Betty Pfaff Legacy Scholarship

In honor of Betty Pfaff '56 — Awarded to two incoming freshmen who meet the following criteria: 

  • Selects Notre Dame as her first-choice school on the Archdiocese application

  • Is a daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, sister or niece of a NDHS alumna

Betty Pfaff Visual & Performing Arts Scholarship

In honor of Betty Pfaff '56 — Awarded to two incoming freshmen who meet the following criteria: 

  • Selects Notre Dame as her first-choice school on the Archdiocese application

  • Is involved in one or more of the following: creative writing, dance, music, theatre or visual arts.

    Must be able to submit a recorded performance or one original composition of art/writing

The Sister Jan Berberich ’67, Michelle ’11 and Christina ‘14 Allen Scholarship Fund

The Sister Jan Berberich ’67, Michelle ’11 and Christina ‘14 Allen Scholarship Fund is established to honor St. Jan Berberich and alumni Michelle and Christina Allen and their admiration for a Notre Dame education by providing additional funds to deserving young women. This non-renewable $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in the form of tuition assistance to the applicant chosen by Sr. Jan, Michelle and Christina beginning with the 2023-24 school year based on their essay submissions. Applications close January 31, 2023 and a winner will be announced by February 28th.
