Sean Hogan
Chairman of the Board

Sean Hogan is the President of SSM DePaul Health Center and is the Network Service Line Executive for SSM Ambulatory Services and SSM Neurosciences. He was honored by the St. Louis Business Journal Class of 2006 for the “40 Under 40” award. 

Sean earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Health Administration from Saint Louis University.  He is married with four children.  Two of his daughters Erin (2010) and Maggie (2013) are graduates of Notre Dame High School.

  Sister Kathleen Bauer, SSND
SSND Provincial Council Member

Sister Kathleen Bauer was born in Robbinsdale, MN. She professed first vows as a School Sister of Notre Dame in 1978 in Mankato, MN. For 25 years, she was a physical therapist in various settings in Minnesota.  From 1999 to 2012, she worked for Allina Health and managed various departments at New Ulm Medical Center.  Most recently, she served as Information Services Site Manager for Abbott Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Sister Kathleen earned her bachelor’s in open studies in 1980 and bachelor’s in physical therapy in 1982 from Mayo Clinic and Mankato State University. She earned her master’s of business administration, with a focus in healthcare management and finance, from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN., in 1995.
  Sister Gail Buckman, SSND 

Sister Gail Buckman, SSND - "Transforming the world through education" is part of the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. I strongly believe in the values of Notre Dame High School and am proud that it is one of our sponsored ministries.  I have been in formal education for over 40 years and know the value of what a well-rounded and diversified education can do for a young woman in today's society.  I believe that Notre Dame offers that kind of education to the young women here. 
 
  Todd Guidry, Ed.D.

Todd has 12 years of experience in Catholic education as a teacher, coach, campus minister, and administrator. He is currently the Middle School Principal at Chaminade College Preparatory School. He has his B.A.  from Xavier University, and his M.A. and Ed.D in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University. He is married and has 3 children. 
  Greg Hayden

Greg Hayden, President of Luxemberg Realty Company, has over 35 years of experience as a Missouri real estate broker.  His experience includes commercial and industrial sales as well as subdivision land development.  His expertise also includes assisting buyers in zoning and development matters.  He has represented numerous clients in the sale of properties located throughout St. Louis and Jefferson Counties, totaling over 1,000 acres for development of residential and industrial subdivisions.  Prior to joining Luxemberg Realty he was a union carpenter and construction superintendent for Knopf Homes.  He earned an Associate Degree from Meramec Community College with emphasis in engineering and construction principles.  
An active member in his community, Hayden is currently a Board Member of the Lemay Chamber of Commerce, the South County Police Business Association and the Montgomery Bank South Region Advisory Board.  He is also a Commissioner for the St. Louis County Port Authority. 

Hayden has been a member of the Notre Dame Facilities Committee for the past five years and has been an active supporter of Notre Dame since 2004, when his daughter was a freshman at Notre Dame.  He is very appreciative to Notre Dame for the strong Catholic high school education she received. It gave her the good foundation she needed for college, graduating with her BA in Business.  He enjoys giving his time and talents to Notre Dame, affording other young women the same opportunity.  
  Katie Whalen Peroutka ‘97

Katie (Whalen) Peroutka '97 is a proud alumna of Notre Dame High School.  After graduating form ND, Katie received her BA from SLU and her JD from SLU School of Law.  From 2009-2013 Katie enjoyed working at NDHS in the Advancement Office as Director of Admissions and Alumnae.  Katie currently works in the home building and real estate industry as Vice President of Whalen Custom Homes, Inc.  She has served on this board from 2013 - present.
 
  Melissa Hack Thomas ‘86

Melissa (Hack) Thomas is a proud Notre Dame High School alum ('86) choosing to follow her two sisters, Mary (Hack) Erickson ('81) and Kathy (Hack) Vitela ('78) to become a proud ND Rebel. While at in high school, Melissa was most involved in the ND Players and the Speech Team. With a degree in Theatre and Public Relations from Fontbonne University, she played the leading lady in most of the university's theatre productions.
Today, Melissa is the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for an international firm. As an accomplished, senior marketing professional with over 20 years of broad B2B marketing and public relations experience, Melissa provides creative, innovative, enthusiastic and forward-thinking leadership in her position, both at the firm and in serving on the Board of Directors at NDHS. Melissa also volunteered her time as a member of the Marketing Committee for ND's Firmly United Strategic Initiative.
Melissa is a 40 year member and graduate of St. Francis of Assisi. Her only child, Scott (her pride and joy) is a Notre Dame Preschool alum.  He is graduating in 2016 from Missouri S&T with a degree Environmental Engineering.  Her dog, Ziggy, also has an ND connection: Melissa had the winning bid at the 2015 ND Auction for the miniature schnauzer puppy!
  Michel Wendell '61

Michel Wendell is an alumna of Notre Dame High School.  She is a graduate of Maryville College, and earned a BA in English and a BA in Education.  She received a Masters in Education from Washington University.  Michel attended St. Louis University for Educational Administration.

Michel helped develop the Upper Grade curriculum for the Project Achievement summer program, was Language Arts Consultant for the St. Louis Archdiocese, has been a school administrator at Good Shepherd- Hillsboro, Cathedral Basilica School, St. Gabriel the Archangel, and now is principal at St. Stephen Protomartyr.
  Dennis Woodland

Dennis Woodland is the proud parent of a 1997 graduate of NDHS and has witnessed how Notre Dame has prepared his daughter for her college experience and a professional career. As a graduate of both Catholic primary and secondary education, he is a dedicated advocate of Catholic education. Dennis graduated from both Northeast Missouri State University {Truman State University) with a BA in Criminal Justice  and Webster University with a MA in Management. He recently retired after a 38 year career as a Lieutenant with the St. Louis County Police Department. As a former Board Member of St. Elizabeth Academy High School, Dennis was asked to join the Board of NDHS to accompany the SEA students that chose to complete their education at Notre Dame.

  Mary Fran Flynn, SSND

Sister Mary Fran Flynn is a School Sister of Notre Dame of the Central Pacific Province, residing at Theresa Center, St. Louis, MO. She holds a BA in American Studies and an MA in Elementary Administration. Flynn has ministered in the fields of education and health care administration. Presently, she ministers as an administrative assistant in the Archives of the Diocese of Belleville. She is in her third year as recording secretary of the Board of Directors of Notre Dame High School, St. Louis.
