About Notre Dame
Message from the President
This is our virtual greeting to all of you!
Welcome to Notre Dame High School.
"I love Notre Dame" can be heard from the voices of students, faculty, staff, parents, alums, families and friends.
Notre Dame High School has a long history in the St. Louis area. Over 7000 alums call Notre Dame "my high school". Located next to St. Louis County Jefferson Barrack Park, Notre Dame High School shares 43 acres with the School Sisters of Notre Dame and their campus.
Beautiful surroundings, breathtaking views and serenity greet first time visitors to Notre Dame. Learning Centers and classrooms complete with technology centers, competent teachers and advisors set the stage for the academic rigors offered by Notre Dame High School.
In the marketplace of secondary schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Notre Dame High School competes with 9 other all-girl high schools as a choice for the many young women of this region. Each school has its own identity. Many are sponsored by their founding religious communities. All have a charisma that is reflective of what they seek to impart to each young woman who attends their school.
Notre Dame High School draws students from the far corners of the St. Louis area. It is our hope that these young women accept the spirit of Notre Dame - Discover Yourself. While discovering themselves as women, they will learn confidence, compassion, care for each other, and concern about our world.
We invite you to "Discover the real Notre Dame". Plan to visit our campus and spend some time with our students. Take in the surrounding scenery and ask questions about ND and the way we do things. Begin your ND journey with confidence!
Administrative staff, teachers, professional and support staff, parent, alums, and present students are happy to introduce you to Notre Dame and to share their stories, memories and current features.
Hope to see you soon.
S. Gail Guelker, SSND
President
